"The Merry Wives of Windsor" tonight in Hoboken

Looking for something to do tonight? The Hudson Shakespeare Company will perform William Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor" at 7 p.m. on the Hoboken waterfront.

Described as "Desperate Housewives" -- Shakespeare-style, the play is free to attend and will take place uptown in Shipyard Park (13th Street behind the King's). And if you can't make it tonight, Hudson Shakespeare Company will be back in Hoboken next week, Monday, Aug. 10, performing the play in Sinatra Park.

"The Merry Wives of Windsor" will close out Hudson Shakespeare Company's 18th season of free summer outdoor plays. The show will tour Hudson County on the following dates this month:

Monday, August 3, 7PM, Shipyard Park, 13th street behind Kings, Hoboken
Monday, August 10, 7PM, Sinatra Park, 411 Frank Sinatra Drive, Hoboken
Thursday, August 13, 8PM, Ellsworth Park, 23rd Street & Palisade Avenue, Union City
Monday, August 17, 7PM, Sinatra Park, 411 Frank Sinatra Drive, Hoboken
Thursday, August 20, 7PM, Van Vorst Park, Montgomery St & Jersey Avenue, Jersey City
(Rain Date Friday, August 21, 7PM)

All shows are free, it is recommended to bring either a lawn chair or blanket to each park showing. For more information, call (973) 449-7443.
